Hey There, Welcome back! If you enjoy this post, be sure you subscribe to my newsletter to get all my blog posts delivered straight to your inbox.
If you just stumbled into this incredible world called the ’internet’, and you are anything like I WAS, you must be so happy to get out of the rock youve been living under. I know I was, and I didn’t even know I was under one!
You probably don’t know which way is up because of the excitement to what your eyes have been opened to! Your mind is probably racing a thousand miles an hour…
… you can’t believe this HUGE, new world that lives inside your computer and you don’t know what to do first…
… you’re having trouble sleeping at night because you realize the possibilities are… endless! Just the sheer thought of having such ‘power at your fingertips’ can be completely overwhelming and…
…if you are not careful, you can be sucked into making some (unknowingly) bad choices and they can become very expensive lessons!
And…if you’re not in the right mindset, those bad choices can break you!
Whether you’re brand spankin new or…
…maybe you’re well seasoned,
everyone should seek out and find a ‘True‘ mentor when they are embarking on their journey to true freedom.
You need to seek out someone that will lead you on your journey and show you where to begin. Just like you learned how to walk before learning to run …there are steps to take that will lead you to success. Without any direction, you’ll be blowing around like a leaf in the wind, wondering where you’ll drop. If the wind blows long enough, you’ll just keep floating around. Sure, you might get there, eventurally, but a true mentor will save you all the heart ache because they’ve been there, done that, and they will have paved an easier path for you.
Even the best of the best have mentors. If you asked them who’s their mentor, the name(s) would flow right from their tongue without a single hesitation of thought.
Before you make any decisions and spend money, I highly recommend you do some research. If you think you’ve found a great mentor, ask yourself this question…
‘Are they leading with real value??’
Let me warn you. Unfortunately, there are pleanty of people out there just waiting to take you on a ride and take your money if you let them.
Listen to your gut…it will lead you in the right direction if you listen.
I was very lucky when I came online…
I stumbled onto an awesome mentor who showed me the way. Did I do my research before joining him…you bet. In a short period of time, I developed a real trust because he offered so much value.
Was it scarry, you bet. But when I thought about all about the possibilities I could achieve if I joined him, I jumped in with both feet and haven’t regretted a thing.
The knowledge I gained…priceless!
A ‘true’ mentor is someone that continues to add value to your life each and every day….
…unselfishly.

Hi Phylicia,
Thanks for stopping by.
I love your blogsite…you offer so much great, informative info related to one’s health. I like your latest post. I, myself, am a huge fan of alternative ways. I think most of the traditional ways of treating illnesses are just bandaids! Looking forward to reading more from you.

Very well put Sharon. I feel finding the right mentor is important. Also, the main key is becoming one. When you become one than you know you are becoming successful.

Yes! Find someone who you can resonate with and as equally important is to make sure that that “mentor” has tons of value to offer. Think about a mentor as your coach. That said, does/did Micheal Jordan and Micheal Phelps have a coach? We all know the answer to that! And, I would want to meet those coaches and learn exactly what they taught their awesome students.
A mentor, or coach, is definitely crucial since they’ve been through war and back and they will tell you what not to do so that you can reach that path of success quicker

Hi Sharon,
Mentoring is critical to success in anything we do in life. Having someone to light the path for us and give feedback saves valuable time and money.
It doesn’t matter what level someone is at their is always a need for a coach and mentor to reach the next level.

Hi Sharon,
A good mentor is really “key” in our business. With his or her guidance, the journey is much easier. They already walked the path, so they adices are like a compass.
Keep adding value!

Hi Sharon!
I agree with you 100%.
When picking a mentor it really it boils down to a mentor who puts your best intentions first before their own.
You have to have a good feel for what is in their heart. That’s pretty much the way I do any business these days. Heart first, everything else second.
I love your posts… very inspirational!
Take Care.

…it will always lead us in the right direction!

Sharon, I like what you said about Trusting Your Gut. When it comes to mentors, gurus, and teachers, one should use all the resources including intuition to determine if that leader is the right person to guide you with Loving Leverage. There are many cons and fakirs out there. Paying attention with absolute discernment to every energetic feedback is crucial to expose the “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
Thanks for sharing WHAT a True and Real Mentor IS.

A good mentor really makes the difference between success and quitting. It’s very difficult to maintain a steady course on this, or any venture, if you don’t really know where you’re heading.
A good mentor lets you in on where he or she has been and where they are now. Somewhere along that continuum is YOU. What’s your place in the larger scheme of your online journey? And how can you advance your position from where you are to where you ought to be heading.
You really don’t know the answers if you haven’t already been there. So you have to “imagine” you know and just plod ahead blindly, or you can just force critical decisions under the guise of taking “action”, or you can decide it’s all too difficult and uncertain… and then you quit.
The only other option is the one you’ve given us here, Sharon. Get a good mentor and just stick to the game plan laid out. When you get better at this business than your mentor, then you can modify your course to stay on your unique path. But if you don’t play follow the leader in the beginning, you’ll be out of the game real soon. Thanks for this critical insight, Sharon.
